We hereby inform you about the processing of your personal data by Bremer & Leguil GmbH in connection with the use of “Microsoft Teams” and the rights to which you are entitled under data protection law pursuant to Articles 13, 14, and 21 of the GDPR.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The purpose of processing your data is to conduct the webinar.

4. Categories of Data Used and Sources of the Data

When using “Microsoft Teams,” various types of data are processed. The scope of the data also depends on what information you provide before or during your participation in an online meeting. The following personal data is subject to processing:

  • User Information: First Name, Last Name
  • Meeting metadata: e.g., date, time, meeting ID, phone numbers, location
  • Text, audio, and video data: You may have the option to use the chat feature during an online meeting. In this context, the text you enter is processed in order to display it during the online meeting. To enable video display and audio playback, data from your device’s microphone and, if applicable, its video camera will be processed for the duration of the meeting. You can turn off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time via the “Microsoft Teams” application.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Your data is processed on the basis of the consent you have provided in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

6. Recipients or Categories of Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data processed in connection with participation in webinars is generally not disclosed to third parties, unless it is specifically intended for disclosure.

Other Recipients: The provider of “Microsoft Teams” necessarily gains access to the above-mentioned data to the extent provided for in our data processing agreement with “Microsoft Teams,” unless the data is specifically intended for disclosure.

7. Transfer of Personal Data to a Third Country

As a general rule, data is not processed outside the European Union (EU), as we have limited our data storage to data centers located within the European Union. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that data may be routed through Internet servers located outside the EU. This may be the case, in particular, when participants in online meetings are located in a third country.

The data is encrypted during transmission over the Internet and is therefore protected against unauthorized access by third parties.

8. Retention Period for Personal Data

As a general rule, we delete personal data when there is no longer a need to retain it. This will typically occur after the webinar has ended.

9. Rights of Data Subjects

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

  • If your personal data is being processed, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR).
  • If inaccurate personal data is processed, you have the right to have it corrected (Art. 16 of the GDPR).
  • If the legal requirements are met, you may request the erasure or restriction of processing, as well as object to the processing (Articles 17, 18, and 21 of the GDPR).
  • If you have consented to the processing of your data or if a data processing agreement is in place and the data processing is carried out using automated means, you may have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Automated decision-making as defined in Article 22 of the GDPR is not used.

10. Right to File a Complaint

Pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully.

Bremer & Leguil is a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the main exit, cross the station forecourt and turn right onto Mercatorstraße. Then turn left onto Königsstraße (pedestrian zone). At the “Lifesaver” fountain, turn right onto Am Burgacker. After crossing at the traffic lights, Bremer & Leguil is 50 meters further on the right-hand side.

From Düsseldorf:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Landfermannstraße. Follow the road and, after the third traffic light, turn right onto “Am Burgacker.”
From Dinslaken:
Take Exit 10 (DU-Duissern) off the A59. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the third street on the left. Turn onto Moselstraße there. At the next intersection, turn right onto Fuldastraße. After about 100 meters, turn left onto “Am Burgacker.”
